Definition of Allocation in the dictionary. Meaning of Allocation. What does Allocation mean? Information and translations of Allocation in the most
I'm reading an economics chapter and everywhere the word 'allocate' keeps popping up and I have no idea what it means. Please don't give me a dictionary
figured you were kidding as a comeback to some
of the blatant racism that is on this board.
I think they have the parade on 5th Ave NYC, but I've never seen them the street green (not even in the years that I lived there in the 80s). What I enjoy are the bagpipes and the swirling of the bass drummer---which reminds me of the grenadiers from my childhood.
Glad you're having a good New Year and hope that the good luck does hold. Things are okay with me. Some stray cat "adopted" me in mid-Dec (neighbors say it belonged to an older woman who died). I'm slowly trying to get it to "obey" certain houserules (like no scratching of the carpet to wake me up at 4am---I'm okay if it can wait until 5am). I'm unsure of the gender of the cat (I'm more a dog person), but am guessing it might be a neutered male (I looked at the "kitty porn" pic on Pefo to compare, but still remain unsure). So far, the only name the cat responded to once was "Sybil". Yeah, my friends and colleagues have laughed their heads off at this---even if the gender is wrong, I can claim the cat just has multiple personalities. It's teaching me many lessons in patience and acceptance (a cat is a cat and not a dog). On occasion, it will fetch or toss back a crumpled teabag wrapper so I will slide it across the kitchen floor again. I've devised an innovative cat toy that uses an old ribbon, paperclip and 1/2 an empty toiletpaper roll (which detaches when caught). The cat loves to jump at it (and has learned to avoid/prefer missing rather than dig its claws into my thigh--ouch!). I had no idea that cats could pant when they're exhausted. I'm thinking to call the cat "Billie" or some gender-neutral name until I get it to a vet in the next month. Billie after Billie Jean King(good paw volleying). Meanwhile, hoping that it will be more affectionate with time. It's very affectionate when it jumps up on me first thing in the morning, purring and kneading in hopes that I will feed it immediately. Actually, most people are surprised that I haven't taken it to a no-kill shelter.
Other things are the same, but hopefully will improve soon. I hope to be more busy in the future, but I've had plenty of time to catch up on a lot of reading. Take care---steer clear of those psych trolls!
